Bethel Assembly of God Church – Newark, NJ

The Help 2 Feed family of volunteers are so very grateful for the help and the sponsorship of Bethel Assembly of God Church at 580 Mt. Prospect Avenue, Newark, NJ. Pastor Joseph Pastori and his wife Lisa Pastori run a food pantry that helps to feed well over 150 families every week in their community. They are also helping our charity by donating food that we need to cook every week to feed the less fortunate. They donate some of their food to us and a few more charities to help out in our own communities. St. John’s Soup Kitchen – Newark, NJ

Help 2 Feed, Inc. would like to thank Father Bismarck Chau and Margaret Clark of St. John’s Church for giving us the opportunity to use their facilities at St. John’s Church every Tuesday night to feed the less fortunate. Also thank you to Pete Dobbs, Director of St. John’s Soup Kitchen and Eloy Vartas, Custodian for all of their help and assistance to us. St. John’s Soup Kitchen has been feeding the less fortunate for over 40 years and we are grateful to them for sponsoring Help 2 Feed. We are honored to be associated with them. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to helping this family whether it was a monetary donation or home items. Carmen, 27 years old, and her siblings lost their mother and were homeless.  We had an opportunity to help this family to keep them together and we all stepped up to the plate and helped. Carmen and her siblings are very grateful for all the help that  our volunteers and many others were able to do for them.  We are very grateful for the opportunity to help this family in need. I would like to take this time to thank everyone who helped me and the kids with your donations.  I am so grateful and thankful to you all.  The donations have been a big help in having to worry less about getting the kids ready for back to school.  You have all warmed our hearts with your support.  This has been a hard journey for us all and to know that we have support helps us feel like we are not alone.  This blessing has been such a wake-up call in knowing that there are good people in this world with great hearts and compassion.  We will never forget this and we will remember to do the right thing for the next person.  I have prayed for help and guidance to do the right thing especially for these kids who have been through so much.
